Popis kurzu

Over three weeks our business and entrepreneurship program will introduce students to a world beyond academia, through a series of interactive workshops, practical tasks and case studies students will learn about some of the most successful businesses in the world and understand what makes them work.

Students will learn about what it takes to be an entrepreneur and the fundamentals of starting a business and marketing a product. In small groups students will generate ideas for businesses or products and will present these ideas to a panel, in addition the students will research how to market their product and generate interest.

As well as learning to write a business plan students will investigate the inner workings of a successful company: how a business operates, how to build a successful team and the leadership qualities of effective managers and leaders

Participants are challenged to further develop their interpersonal and leadership skills through an enhanced curriculum that includes;

Public Speaking and Presentation Skills
Team building and managing others
Goal setting and time management
Marketing of a product and or business

ISSOS se nachází v New Haven a je jednou z nejoblíbenějších škol v USA. Škola se specializuje na výuku !of Anglicky pro zahraniční studenty, jako Vy. Velikost školních tříd je velmi malá (20 students maximum) a působící učitelé jsou rodilí mluvčí !of Anglicky. Také mají velmi přátelské učitele a zaměstnance, kteří se o Vás během pobytu v New Haven dobře postarají.

Our summer program at the prestigious Yale University is located in New Haven, Connecticut. The campus is set on 265 acres and provides many amenities for students during their stay. More importantly, Yale provides a safe campus where students can enjoy a certain amount of freedom and experience everything it has to offer. Yale's University campus provides students with the opportunity to explore the many University buildings, shop in the small university town that plays host to some well-known brands as well as other boutique shops, and enjoy the variety of cafes and restaurants.

ISSOS International Summer Schools are amazing. The staff are incredibly welcoming. The teachers are engaging and encouraging and their classes are interesting and dynamic. The accommodation is safe and comfortable. The location was wonderful and there is the opportunity to go on fun and interesting trips. I would recommend ISSOS to anyone who wants to practise and improve their English skills, study interesting academic and elective classes, meet friends from lots of different nationalities and have so much fun!

ISSOS at Yale is set within the grounds of Yale University. Students are housed in the historic Trumbull College which provides them with a very comfortable and safe ‘home away from home’ for the duration of the three-week program. Trumbull is one of Yale’s most beautiful and most intimate residential colleges. It is said that James Gamble Rogers, who designed nine of Yale’s twelve residential colleges, considered Trumbull his masterpiece.

All students will be housed in Trumbull College with its oak paneled common room facilities, libraries and lawns that students can take full advantage of during their stay.
