"My first experience with on-line learning"

"Wonderful surprise"

First, I wouldn't travel to learn a language, but my friend had a familiar problem and then I traveled alone. Then, I thought not to lose my holidays and learn English. ONLY FOR 10 DAYS. The teachers are patient, and passionate about doing classes. I stayed for only 1 week!! If you live in St Julian the location of the school is perfect. Near to the sea, to do bath. I didn't like disco activities; I don't like to see drunks on the street. I don't like go to the street with 60 or 100 people all together. But all places in Malta have interesting locations, histories, and a good bus system.

"We would like to come back and continue the language course"

I liked the classes and teachers. The school location was in Kappara. I liked to swim with friends (on he Comino trip especially), having lunch at McDonalds (not everyday sandwiches, fruit salad -ok), the BBQ party on the beach, and the Aquapark. I was hard to wake up early in the morning.

"Teaching was not intensive"

"It is new interesting experience for me"

Evaluation of the location of the school depends on where you live. If in a student residence, it is very convenient. If the apartment, then it's far.
Unfortunately, the quality of education depends heavily on the pedagogical skills and the ability of teachers to adapt their style of teaching to a specific group.
Pastime for many. Everyone can find something for themselves. In general, the entire staff is very friendly and helpful.
And unfortunately, one important point - in Malta they do not speak in English in daily life. Therefore, total immersion in English is not happening.
I lived in the hostel-family. I was very lucky, an excellent family! and convenience, and the relationships and help-all excellent!

Cleaning Service is provided free of charge once a week. Tidying up and refreshing rooms, bathrooms and common areas. Towels and linen also changed weekly. For daily upkeep of the apartment, students must buy their own cleaning material

Roulette Apartments consist of a block of 11 apartments providing a great community to meet other students. There are 5 apartments which have 2 twin bedrooms and 6 apartment which have 1 twin bedroom; 2 apartments on each floor and 1 apartment on the top floor, all accessible by a lift. Each apartment is fully equipped with kitchen including oven, hob, microwave, toaster and fridge freezer, living and dining area with cable TV, shower room and bedroom. Each apartment also has a balcony.

"I have two prospective students who would like to study at inlingua Malta. I have a few questions; Is your school close to St Julian? This is a mother travelling with her 14 year-old daughter and who are looking for an option to do a course. If possible they would like a 50+ and teen program but without housing as they already have a hotel. What could you offer?"

Our school is 10 - 15 minutes away by bus ( or approx 25 min walking distance ) from St.Julians. The 50+ Program has specific starting dates ( the next one is in May and the duration is 2 weeks).Yours students can enroll in standard courses.

Regarding the activity, yes there are lots of social activities student can choose from especially during summer time.

"I have a prospective student from Brazil who would like to study at EC Language Schools: Malta. He is Brazilian and wants to study there for at least 6 months. I am aware that Brazilians do not need visas for Malta for stays up to 90 days. But what about 6 months? Would the school help him to get a student visa?"

Before student finishes his 90 days as visa waiver he will need to get a visa letter from EC Malta in order to extend his visa in Malta. He must do so at least 1 month before 90 days goes up as the visa extension process can vary depending on individual’s case. The student will require the following documents to be able to extend his stay in Malta for the whole duration of his studies. - Valid Health Insurance that includes cover for hospital fees and covers the full duration of stay
- A bank statement showing that the student has at least 48 euro per day for the whole duration of stay in Malta (this is subject to change and student should enquire at school front desk well before he goes to the visa extension)
- 4 passport size photos.
The application form can then be completed once in Malta and the school staff will help guide the student accordingly. However please note that once the temporary residence permit is granted the student might not be able to extend this permit. Therefore the student will have to leave Malta on the date when the permit expires. So it is important that the student must decide if he has any intention to extend his course before applying for the permit so that he can give the correct end date when applying.
