Santo Domingo is a canton located between the province of Heredia and San José; It is surrounded by beautiful landscapes and is characterized by its great beauty. Walking through its streets you can see beautiful houses of Spanish colonial architecture, as well as Victorian architecture. It has a monumental church, the Basilica of Santo Domingo de Guzmán, whose imposing front view welcomes visitors and passersby upon entering the canton.
Santo Domingo has experienced increasing development, so, without losing the essence of a colonial town, it offers benefits similar to those of a city, such as a wide variety of restaurants, sodas, cafes and bars; supermarkets, stores, gyms and banks, among others; all this in the center and surroundings.

Lapa Verde is located 5 minutes from the center of Santo Domingo, so students can walk to school, as well as to the center.

The proximity of Santo Domingo, both to Heredia and San José, makes the location of Lapa Verde ideal. The bus service to Heredia and San José is very efficient. The bus stop for San José is in front of the school and the Heredia bus stop is just a few meters away.

This canton is an excellent starting point to visit and discover the enormous natural beauty of our country, such as the national parks, the beautiful beaches of the Pacific or the Caribbean, in short.
